Ordering - Handcrafted Pewter requires a minimum opening order of $150 in merchandise in any combination for all new accounts, and a re-order minimum of $50. To qualify for wholesale purchases, new customers must provide Buyer Name, Company, Shipping and Billing Addresses, Phone and Fax Numbers, and a copy of Company's Resale Exemption Certificate. Orders may be placed by phone, fax, email or website.
Terms - Orders are prepaid with check, cash, money order, VISA, Mastercard or Discover. Net 30 terms are available with approved credit for reorders. Past due accounts will be charged 1.5% interest and a $25 late/handling fee per month, and will revert to a prepaid account.
Shipping - All orders are shipped UPS, usually within 5 - 10 business days of placing your order. Please indicate on the order if you require a specific date. Pricing on hcpewter.com does not include shipping charges, which are billed at exact cost.
Returns and Exchanges - Inspect order immediately upon receipt. Handcrafted Pewter will cheerfully replace any defective merchandise, or give credit for saleable returned items upon notification within 5 days of receipt of shortages, error or damages. Unauthorized, unwarranted, or notification of returns after 5 days is subject to 10% restocking fee. No returns, exchanges or credits will be granted after 14 days of receipt of shortages, errors or damages. Special/custom orders are not returnable.
Damage Claims - Handcrafted Pewter makes every effort to pack first quality merchandise with carrier approved materials. Handcrafted Pewter is not responsible for damage in transit, and does not insure packages. If you would like to insure your packages, please notify Handcrafted Pewter at time of order. If your shipment is damaged in transit, you must notify the carrier and Handcrafted Pewter within 48 hours of delivery and save all packaging materials and product. Full, timely payment of order is still required, and adjustments, if any, will be made in the form of credit or exchange upon completion of carrier investigation and return of product and packaging to Handcrafted Pewter.
Exclusivity - Shops and galleries may be considered for exclusivity should their total purchases for two consecutive years put them in the top 10% of all Handcrafted Pewter customers. All invoices during this period must be paid on a timely basis. Exclusivity is renewable annually, and does not prevent current Handcrafted Pewter customers within the same zip code from continuing to purchase, but would prevent new locations from opening a Handcrafted Pewter account in a respective zip code.
