Handcrafted Pewter, artisans of a centuries-old art form of hand carving, casting and finishing fine pewter pieces, featuring collections of original designs handcrafted with pride in the USA.

Handcrafted Pewter began in the early 1980's when Marcie and Mark Priesler sold pewter Christmas ornaments at craft fairs. Marcie was the principal designer of the family owned company, and husband, Mark, was in charge of fabrication and production. After 20 years of original designs and manufacturing handmade pewter pieces, Marcie and Mark sold their business to friend and fellow artisan, Angi Winebrenner, to pursue other interests.  Angi brings numerous years of design experience to the company, and she will continue to uphold the integrity that Handcrafted Pewter is known for.

Pewter is our chosen medium because of it's reflective softness of color, affordable elegance, and because it does not tarnish.  Originally sold as Christmas ornaments, these pieces quickly evolved into pendants, pins, earrings, key chains. Recently developed has been a unique series of wall pieces, desk accessories and labyrinths, and we have further expanded our line to include pewter-enhanced frames, mirrors and one-of-a-kind reclaimed furnishings.

The Handcrafted Pewter studio and foundry is located in Fort Myers, Florida.  Designs are first etched or carved, and then a rubber mold is made for casting.   Molten pewter, at a temperature of 450 – 580 degrees Fahrenheit, is ladled into the rubber mold in a centrifugal casting machine.  When the casting has cooled, each piece is cut from the cast and then uniquely aged.   Finally, each piece is individually hand finished to bring out the rich qualities of pewter, while being inspected for quality and consistency.

Our goal is your satisfaction and pride in the products you choose.  We offer unique designs with consistent and exceptional quality, and we are confident that your customers will enjoy our designs for years to come.
